Fish dominance in community tank?

i have just added 3 platys to my community tank which includes 8 neons 4 glow tetras 3 silver sharks 2 pearl gouramis and 1 south american pleco, the gouramis seems to be chasing the platys and the glows keep attempting to fin nip them,is this just asserting dominance or shall i take them out? ive never had this problem before so not sure what to do.....
