I already have to use the restroom but its painful (very) wil exlax chocolates make it softer?

Or wud it jus giv me the urge to go and make me cramp without helping soften it up so I can go regularly? Iv tried stool softners and watr but its not working. I'm scared to tak the laxativ because wut if it js maks me hav to push but be in enormous pain and have more bleeding?
