I need some help on how to eat normally.?

So i've always found it hard to eat normally. I either eat nothing for a couple of days or just one meal a day for a few weeks. But then when i get bored sometime in between not eating a lot i eat LOADS, like my body can't recognise when it's full, i don't particularly enjoy eating all the food i do, it's quite shameful and i try and hid how much i eat, it didn't used to matter because i was thin back then, however recently i haven't been able to stop at all, i've been stressed, upset, happy etc and just been eating really badly, lots of carbs and chocolate and bad food. how can i stop this, i want to improve my health because i think it's affecting my skin and hair :/ thankyou x
